How to get involved

How to get involved with QCUK

As a Volunteer

We keep a database of people who are generous enough to volunteer their time. If you are willing to help, then please complete and return this form to us. We would contact you when an opportunity arises.

QCUK recruits for interns throughout the year, wherever there is a demand. Recruitment for specific positions generally takes place one month before the advertised start date. Like all QCUK volunteers, interns will be paid reasonable expenses. Beyond this, we are not able to offer interns any additional financial support. However, we try to offer flexible volunteering hours, to fit with other commitments you may have.

As a Charity Associate

If you have a particular set of skills or experience, lend your time and talents to QCUK and help make a difference. No matter what your talent or how little time you have to share, there is a way to get involved. We are always interested in hearing from experienced professionals whether you work in law, business, finance or government.

If you would like to help us out by offering your time or services, please get in touch. Check out our strategic areas and current projects and let us know how you might be able to contribute.

As a Partner

Partnering with QCUK doesn’t necessarily mean there will be a funding relationship. We may prefer, for example, to partner with organisations whose existing programmes can be self-sufficient and where our support can in some way expand the programme (geographically, perhaps, or numbers of people).

If you believe you have a project, which would help bring communities together in the UK or Europe through one of our four strategic areas (community relations, cultural engagement, economic and educational empowerment and humanitarian response), then please contact us.

As a Qatari Student based in the UK

We are always interested in hearing from Qatari students who are studying at universities in the UK. Should you wish to get involved, please get in touch.

Student Help

Every financial contribution makes a difference. QCUK is funded through donations and grants from generous supporters and without them we could not do what we do. Your support is vital to the sustainability and growth of QCUK.

Zakat is the third pillar of Islam and concerns the annual giving of 2.5 per cent of one’s wealth to benefit the poor. All Muslims must perform this duty, provided they meet certain conditions.

Sadaqah on the other hand is purely voluntary. It can be given at any time, to anyone and it can be of any amount
